Deuteronomy 6:7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.
Interactive Lessons
Classes are made to allow students to move. These classes will provide lots of activities and hands on learning.
Scripture Based
All classes will be taught from qualified teachers. Each teacher will bring the love of Christ into their classes through their interactions and educating of the students.
Mixed Classes
Our classes are divided based on reading ability. We have 3 levels, K-2nd, 3rd-5th, and 6th-8th. Students of all ages may be joined together for some classes.
Multi Generational Relationships
Students of multiple ages will be learning and interacting together. Teachers are grandparents, and parents who want to help train the next generation to be servants of Christ equipped with a well-educated biblically informed perspective for all of life.
Hands On Learning
Our classes are made for students to learn with their hands. Classes are 45 minutes long but students will not be sitting still the entire time. Students will be creating, interacting and moving throughout each class. Students are welcome to walk around, wiggle, and use a fidget as needed.
Family Field Trips
We meet 2 weeks a semester as families to participate in a field trip. This allows families to get to know each other, the teachers, and their children’s friends. Past field trips have included the Grand Rapids Art Museum and Impression 5 Science Center.
